1. My Village (Advanced Paragraph)
My village, Niyamotpur, is a place that will always hold a special place in my heart. It is located approximately fifteen kilometers away from my hometown. I spent the golden days of my childhood there until I was in Class Seven. In my opinion, village life was truly a breath of fresh air, far away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
I still remember walking along the riverbank, playing with my childhood friends, and enjoying the endless green paddy fields. Those memories are etched in my mind forever and always bring a smile to my face. Although I have moved to the town and my lifestyle has changed significantly, I can never forget my roots because my village shaped my character and taught me the simple values of life.
Whenever I return to my village, I feel a deep sense of nostalgia. The calm environment, chirping birds, fresh air, and the warm-hearted people remind me that there is no place like home. Even though modern life has taken me far away, my village remains a precious chapter of my life.

Introduction
Mr. Krishna:
Good evening, Mr. Apurba Sarker. Welcome to Manchester English Academy. Today, we are going to talk about three beautiful and emotional topics: your village, your hometown, and your country. Are you ready?
Mr. Apurba Sarker:
Good evening, Mr. Krishna. Thank you very much. Yes, I am ready. It will be my pleasure to share my memories and feelings about these places.
Part 1: My Village
Mr. Krishna:
Wonderful. First of all, could you please tell me something about your village?
Mr. Apurba Sarker:
Certainly. The name of my village is Niyamotpur, which is approximately 15 kilometers away from my hometown. I spent the first fifteen years of my life there until I was in Class Seven. Later, my family moved to the town permanently for better education and opportunities.
Mr. Krishna:
That sounds interesting. How was your childhood in the village?
Mr. Apurba Sarker:
My childhood in the village was one of the most beautiful periods of my life. I was deeply connected to nature, the local culture, and the simple lifestyle of village people.
During my primary school life, I was a very good student and I stood first in my class every year. Those achievements gave me a lot of confidence.
Mr. Krishna:
That is wonderful. Do you still have the same attachment to your village?
Mr. Apurba Sarker:
Yes, I still have emotional attachment to my village because it is my root. Whenever I visit the village, many childhood memories come back to my mind.
However, I do not feel the same excitement to stay there for a long time as I used to feel during my childhood because my lifestyle and mindset have changed.
Mr. Krishna:
I understand. What were your favorite activities during your childhood in the village?
Mr. Apurba Sarker:
In the evenings, I used to walk beside the river, play with my friends, and enjoy the peaceful environment.
The green paddy fields, fresh air, birds singing, and beautiful natural scenery made my childhood extremely memorable.
Mr. Krishna:
Do you still maintain communication with your childhood friends?
Mr. Apurba Sarker:
Unfortunately, I do not maintain regular contact with most of them nowadays because everyone is busy with their own lives and responsibilities.
However, whenever we meet, we share our old memories and enjoy the moments together.
Mr. Krishna:
That is true. Village memories always remain special.
Part 2: My Hometown
Mr. Krishna:
Now let us talk about your hometown. Could you introduce your hometown to us?
Mr. Apurba Sarker:
Of course. My hometown is Kishoreganj, which is one of the historically and culturally significant districts of Bangladesh.
I became more mature and experienced many new things after moving to my hometown. It provided me with better education, better guidance, and more opportunities for personal development.
Mr. Krishna:
Very nice. Could you tell us about some special features of Kishoreganj?
Mr. Apurba Sarker:
Kishoreganj is situated on the bank of the Noroshunda River. Although the river was once full of life and flowing water, it has become almost inactive and polluted nowadays.
Kishoreganj is famous for its haor regions, especially the all-weather roads built in the haor areas, which have become popular tourist attractions.
Mr. Krishna:
That is impressive. What about literature and history?
Mr. Apurba Sarker:
Kishoreganj has made remarkable contributions to Bengali literature and culture.
The first female Bengali poet Chandravati was from Kishoreganj. Moreover, the ancestral home of the famous writer Dwijendralal Roy is also connected with this region.
Mr. Krishna:
Excellent. What are the other famous aspects of Kishoreganj?
Mr. Apurba Sarker:
Kishoreganj is also famous for its fisheries. The haor areas produce a large amount of fresh fish, and people from different parts of the country come here to purchase fish.
Another important attraction is Sholakia Eidgah Maidan, one of the largest Eidgah grounds in South Asia. Every year, thousands of Muslims gather there to offer Eid prayers.
Moreover, Kishoreganj has renowned educational institutions such as Gurudayal Government College, which is one of the oldest government colleges in Bangladesh.
Part 3: My Country
Mr. Krishna:
Now, please tell me about your motherland.
Mr. Apurba Sarker:
My motherland is Bangladesh, and I feel extremely proud to be a Bangladeshi.
Bangladesh is a country with a rich history, culture, and tradition. People of different religions such as Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, and Christians live here peacefully and celebrate their religious festivals together.
Mr. Krishna:
That is a beautiful description. What about the geographical importance of Bangladesh?
Mr. Apurba Sarker:
Bangladesh is the largest delta in the world, formed mainly by the sediments brought by the Ganges, Brahmaputra, and Meghna rivers.
It is a riverine and densely populated country. Despite many challenges, Bangladeshi people are well known for their hospitality, simplicity, and kindness.
Mr. Krishna:
Very good. Could you tell me about the tourist attractions of Bangladesh?
Mr. Apurba Sarker:
Certainly.
Bangladesh has many wonderful tourist attractions. Cox’s Bazar has the longest natural sea beach in the world.
The Sundarbans, the largest mangrove forest in the world, is another major attraction.
Moreover, the hill districts such as Bandarban, Rangamati, and Khagrachhari, and the freshwater swamp forest Ratargul, add great beauty to our country.
Part 4: Changes Over Time
Mr. Krishna:
You have described everything beautifully. Now, tell me what changes you have noticed over the last twenty years.
Mr. Apurba Sarker:
There have been tremendous changes in transportation, education, medical facilities, and people’s lifestyles.
When I was a child, I used to travel from my village to the town by rickshaw, and it took around thirty minutes. Nowadays, due to improved roads and transportation systems, the same journey takes only ten to fifteen minutes.
Mr. Krishna:
That is a significant improvement. What changes have you noticed in education?
Mr. Apurba Sarker:
In my childhood, the educational environment in villages was not very advanced. Some teachers were not very attentive, and students did not receive enough proper guidance.
However, after moving to the town, I found better teachers, improved educational facilities, and a more competitive learning environment.
Nowadays, village education has improved significantly due to technology, better infrastructure, and increased awareness.
Mr. Krishna:
Excellent observation. Finally, among your village, hometown, and country, which one do you feel most connected to?
Mr. Apurba Sarker:
Honestly, I cannot separate them because they are interconnected parts of my identity.
My village represents my childhood and roots, my hometown represents my growth and education, and my country represents my pride and nationality.
Each of them holds a special place in my heart.
Closing
Mr. Krishna:
That was a wonderful explanation, Mr. Apurba. You expressed your emotions, memories, and knowledge very beautifully. I believe your speaking has become much more organized and advanced.
Mr. Apurba Sarker:
Thank you very much, Mr. Krishna. Your guidance and continuous practice sessions are helping me improve my English communication skills day by day.
Mr. Krishna:
You are most welcome. Keep practicing, maintain consistency, and your English fluency will definitely reach a higher level.
